Water Jetting Sewers & Industrial Lines
Water jetting cleans sewer lines quickly and efficiently with high-velocity water pressure. The streams of high-pressure water, emitting from the forward and reverse jets in the nozzle, propel the hose through the line. As the nozzle and hose move through the line, debris such as scale, silt, sand and grease is blasted free and washed away.
We offer fast, versatile, efficient cleaning for sewers and industrial lines from 4-inch to 36-inch in diameter with our Big Jet that operates at a pressure of four thousand PSI, with a minimum of twenty-five gallons per minute usage. We have a carrying capacity of eleven hundred gallons of water on the jet truck. We carry an adapter to tap fire hydrants in the City of Toledo if additional water is needed. The machine carries up to 600 feet of five eight high-pressure hose.
Television / Fiber-Optic Line Inspection
Toledo Roto-Rooter takes the guesswork out of sewer repairs with special video cameras that look inside pipes from 1 ½ inch to 36 inch in diameter. We can pinpoint a problem and recommend the most cost-effective solution for you. Our high-resolution camera records grease buildup, leaks, broken pipe and obstructions.
This video inspection camera allows us to determine whether to dig, clean, repair or replace the pipe. Roto-Rooter saves you time and money by quickly solving the problem and bringing in the right equipment for the job.
Underground Line Detection
Toledo Roto-Rooter locates lines or septic tanks without digging. We take the guesswork out of locating line breaks.
Our state of the art line detection equipment can locate underground metallic, cast-iron or non-metallic pipes and ducts without expensive and sometimes disruptive digging. We use this technology to help locate gas pipes and avoid accidentally digging into one, or to help locate water leaks in plastic pipes. Our line detection equipment is rugged and works in nearly any weather.
Sewer Line Repairs, Replacement and Cleanout Installation
Once a determination is made that your sewer line needs repair or replacement, Toledo Roto-Rooter has the skilled plumbing technicians and plumbing equipment to get the job done. Depending on what the situation is we can replace the whole line or repair a section of broken line either by open cut method or with our trenchless pipe technology.
A full-sized cleanout will ensure that your sewer line can be cleaned with a six-inch blade. Some homes either do not have a cleanout access or it is located in a crawl space or basement. Houses with basements usually have a stack line with a cleanout access or the access is in a crawl space. Some homeowners prefer the ease of having an access outside their home so that service technicians do not have to bring equipment down into their basements.
Steamer
As the name implies, this item produces steam, very hot water or a combination of both. It has the ability to deliver water or steam under high pressure to areas of your house where heat will be most effective. The steamer is used to remove tar or defrost frozen lines from downspout lines and scuppers to roof vents.
Pipe Thawing
Toledo Roto-Rooter can quickly thaw frozen pipes. This equipment can be used on metallic fresh water lines and drainage lines up to 2 inches in diameter. This electrical device is attached to your piping and within a few minutes service is restored. After your problem is solved, our plumbers can make recommendations to prevent problems like this from happening again. Plastic piping material cannot be thawed with this equipment.
Backflow Certification
Backflow prevention devices are required by state law to be tested and certified. This is required at initial installation, after maintenance or repair, and as a minimum, at least once each year. Residential Backflow Preventers are normally found on lawn sprinkler systems and on the water supply line feeding boilers. Commercial or industrial buildings typically have several devices throughout the plumbing system. Backflow preventers are used to protect the water supply system from contamination. They are an important component in providing safe drinking water to our community. If you have any questions concerning the protection of your water supply system, contact our licensed plumbing technicians. We offer backflow evaluations of your facility; this will identify any deficiencies and ensure compliance with the state laws and regulations.
