Trenchless pipe replacement is a method of replacing old pipe with new seamless HDPE (high-density polyethylene) pipe. Seamless means roots will not be able to enter and obstruct the flow in the new pipe. Toledo Roto-Rooter uses a process developed by Tric® that pulls a hardened steel splitting head through the old pipe.
We have the capability of replacing 3 inch to 6-inch sewer and storm drainage piping without the antiquated “open-cut” method previously used. We can replace piping under roads, parking lots, driveways and sidewalks with the same size, or up-sizing is available as well.
The new pipe is installed and the old pipe is broken and compacted into the adjacent soil. The pipe has been approved for use in Ohio and Michigan.
